Event overview

Members of The Fidelio Trio, joined by violinist Philippa Mo, explore music by our patron composer, Ernest Moeran, marking the 70th anniversary of his death in 1950 and, true to the Festival’s mission and tradition, focus on a living Irish composer, this year Deirdre McKay.

The programme encompasses some of Moeran’s most evocative chamber music and the exquisite soundworlds McKay constructs from minimal sources and materials.
