Calling all musicians to join us for this special opportunity to perform during our 10th Festival celebrations.
As part of 2023 Chamber Music on Valentia, we would like to invite musicians (leisure-time, student, professional) to join us for a rehearsal and informal performance of works by Irish composers (including Donnacha Dennehy and Jennifer Walshe) as devised for Contemporary Music for All.
These Open Score works are flexible in instrumentation and this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know these works by Irish composers and work with Mary Dullea who will guide you through the rehearsal process, leading to an informal performance as part of the 2023 Chamber Music on Valentia festival.
Important information
- Parts will be provided.
- The workshop/rehearsal for this opprtunity will take place on 15th August 2023. Further information will be given following sign-up.
- The finalrehearsal and informal performance, as part of our 2023 Festival will take place on 19th August 2023 on Valentia Island.
- There is no monetary renumeration attached to this opportunity.
