String Extravaganza: Call for young professionals
We are looking for young professional string players to join a Side-by-Side experience in the String Extravaganza Finale on Sunday, 17th August for a programme including concerti by Vivaldi. This is a paid opportunity and would entail being on Valentia Island for Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August.

Masterclass with Festival Artists
During our 12th Festival, there are several opportunities for masterclasses with our world-class Festival Artists, and for you to have an opportunity to recieve expert feedback on your playing, in a relaxed setting.
For 2025, masterclass opportunities are open for string players (violin, viola, cello), pianists, and flautists of Grade 5 standard and above. Open score 2025: Join us
Building on the tremendous success of our annual Open Score project, if you would like to join Festival Musicians in rehearsing Open Score pieces by Ed Bennett and Ailis Ni Riain, and perform during Celebration of Kerry concert, please write a short paragraph about you, your instrument and send it via email to info@chambermusiconvalentia.com by 5.00pm on Tuesday, 5 August 2025.
Please note that you would need to have some instrumental skill (Grade 3 and above) for this workshop/performance.
Celebration of Kerry: Showcase your talent
Following the 2024 inaugural event, we are hosting a Celebration of Kerry performance focusing on local Kerry musicians on Saturday 16th August at 6pm.
