Opening our 6th annual Chamber Music on Valentia Festival, we host a celebrity interview with acclaimed Irish pianist John O’Conor plus a performance of a selection of Bizet’s charming Jeux d’enfants duets with Artistic Director and pianist, Mary Dullea.

Award-winning Irish pianist David Quigley enjoys an international career as a recitalist, performing in many of the world’s greatest concert halls including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall. We are pleased to welcome David to the festival for an evening of nocturnes by Field, Chopinand Clara Schumann, songs and waltzes by Schubert, plus one of Liszt’s masterworks, Années de Pèlerinage

Late Night Jazz with Darius Brubeck

Celebrating the release 60 years ago of his father’s classic album TIME OUTDarius Brubeck will perform Dave Brubeck compositions “Blue Rondo ala Turk” and “Strange Meadowlark” with Darragh Morgan. In addition to playing solo jazz piano, Darius will also team up with Darragh on his own South African hit “Tugela Rail”.
