Venue Glanleam House
A wonderful evening of music and food in the historic Glanleam House, with performers William Dowdall, Darragh Morgan, Nancy Johnson & Miriam Roycroft. With canapes at 7 30pm and concert at 8pm in the intimate setting of the dining room. Featuring music for strings and flute from Telemann to Schubert the programme includes the Handel-Halvorsen tour-de-force for violin and viola as well as Beethoven’s amusing duo for viola and cello. Finishing with Mozart’s Flute Quartet, the concert also features a charming set of pieces for string trio by the esteemed composer, Hubert Parry who stayed in Glanleam 110 years ago in 1905, as the guest of the then Knight of Kerry.
