Tonight’s concert brings together strings, flute and piano in a programme that culminates in Schumann’s magnificent Piano Quartet. Also featured are two pieces by the Kenmare resident English composer, Ernest Moeran, who was greatly inspired by Kerry mountain ranges. Poulenc’s virtuosic Sonata for Flute and Piano is a timeless masterpiece.
